Market Day

Sunday 26th June saw the return of the very popular Saints Summer Street Market . The street played host to 35 stalls, all local creatives and producers and the market drew huge numbers of visitors who made the most of fine weather and the opportunity to visit a few Big Hoot owls as well. It was a perfect day to shop and browse and grab a coffee and lunch, making the most of having many of our eateries open for the day.

There was a wide variety of products on sale including jewellery, glass, home fragrances, prints and paper craft, cakes and textiles.

It was great to welcome a few first time traders to our market including Suffolk Refugee Services showcasing the work of their sewing group, Kieran Page Illustrations and Sagger Fine Arts.

There was busking from Roma and Poppy Scarlett, live music at Thomas Wolsey Pub and Chip hosted an open Mic event.

It was great to see the street buzzing with visitors and we are looking forward to the next market on Sunday 27th November. See you there!
